Well the chick in my class that looked over my lesson plan gave me a 22/25......Maybe my teacher will think differently.

Lesson Plan
12th grade English
I. C. Writing-Revising
Objective
TLW review a peer’s rough draft for errors.
TLW present his “arguments” about peer’s paper.
TLW inevitably teach himself to find errors in his own paper.

Set
Begin the class with a story about a how a person once took a paper from
someone and tried to completely rewrite it. Explain that is not what the class
is doing today. Tell the class that the Brave New World paper they thought
they were turning in for a grade today is actually getting a second look before
it comes to the teacher.

Strategies
§ Have students switch papers, and read person’s paper through once.
§ Students will go through the paper and find any grammatical errors that they can find and circle them in green.
§ Students will then take out another piece of paper and write down any structural advice (transitions, need more details, verb tense, documentation, etc).
§ Students will discuss with the person about the paper and present any suggestions about the paper.
§ If both people are unsure they can approach teacher and ask questions or ask another group’s advice.

Guided Practice
The student will then go back to his seat and look over his paper for any final
errors, and circle them in blue.

Closure
Tell the students that they will fix the errors found in the paper for
homework, and turn the final draft, rough draft, and peer review into the
teacher on the next day.

Assessment
Upon arrival of final draft, the teacher will grade final draft in red. The
teacher will also look at the peer review and give a grade based on effort for
the reviewer.
